To pull someone's hair back from the forehead (using your hands pressed against their head) backwards across the top of the head, causing pain to the hairline region in particular. Particularly effective if done from behind, on Tefals, or on girls with big spams (foreheads).
When teachers discovered that this was going on in our Essex comp our surly Welsh head of year stood up in front of everyone in assembly and said "There is a practice going around this school called swiftying" to which we all dissolved into laughter.

A feature of the 'social scene' that developed in the 1970's was the 'wife-swapping party' (not it was wives that were swapped not husbands!) where 'swinger couples' would get together to have sex with each others partner - usually male-female.

This phrase is used around here for when, at house parties, bathroom lines are long and two guys used the toilet at once for urination. (ed: I wonder where 'round here' is!)
A kid who displays a higher level of intelligence that the norm for a class is swot. It isn;t meant nicely either. Trouble is these kids are often gited kids who because of their advanced intelligence seem arrogant or stand offish to the less able but more socially minded peer group. Quite sad really.
