Fantastic,great, cool, groovy", etc. Ex: "Hey man, did you see the new Corvette? Its tits!" Obviously used by guys only. Interesting how its meaning is quite contrary to the UK version - tits (the female types) are wonderful- why the negative connotation?

tits-up (gone ...)
n.

Description for a mistake or error of epic proportions. e.g. "Let's get out of here boss — it's all gone tits-up!", Contributor has no idea where this one comes from, just knows it's pretty common across the country and has been since they were a child. Brad (an ex-GI) sent in the following explanation: Tits-up is how a farmer hates to find his cows pr sheep 'cos a cow that's gone tits-up isn't much use! In other words it's dead!

Is also used to describe a defective vehicle, project or piece of technology. A similar expression is 'belly-up' which is probably a euphemism for tits-up. The term is also used in US Military slang, abbreviated to "Tango Uniform" (which in the the phonetic alphabet is 'T-U').

Literally, nipple or teat but usually used in reference to the whole breast.

However, over time it has been used as an insult in its own right, interchangeable with “nipple” and “nipplehead” but probably started being used as an insult by referring to them as a 'baby' or 'infant'.

To be mildly inebriated - usually in relation to marijuana use.

Form of taunting used when classmate loses a game, answers something wrong and is said in a drawn out way, therefore making it more annoying. Often accompanied by saying Burn, in the same manner, for effect.

toe jam

Yukky smelly stuff that results from athletes foot etc and hangs about between your toes.

toe-rag
n.

Literally a piece of cloth used to clean between the toes and therefore quite probably scruffy and smelly. Often used by teachers, and boys at secondary school in Lincolnshire especially the head master Mr. Sykes, who would often say "You're a toe-rag lad, no I'll change that, You're an intelligent toe-rag.".

Another term for sexual intercourse. Convoluted if obvious derivation using rhyming slang from a 1960s and earlier, UK Toffee confection called 'Toff-o-Lux'. This was rather like a Rolo, i,e, in 'tube' form, but made of hard Toffee and no Chocolate coating.
