Doors was basically a football game played with a tennis ball between two players. The goals were two doors in the playground conveniently located opposite each other and the right distance apart for a game for two people.

This game was often associated with winner-stays-on, and was where the greatest football talents of Chislehurst Road Junior School, Orpington, were honed. - Note School was closed in about 1990!,
